According to Hong Kong media sources, Luo Qirui, a famous director and screenwriter in Hong Kong, died on July 2 at the age of 69. It is reported that he died on the way to the hospital due to a sudden heart attack.
The "Fairy Tale of Autumn" co-written by him won several awards at the Hong Kong Film Awards, and "The Thief of the Years" won the Crystal Bear Award for Best Film in the New Generation Unit of the 60th Berlin International Film Festival.
