The 5th China International Outdoor Video Carnival (hereinafter referred to as "Outdoor Video Carnival") will be held from August 5th to 7th at Qiandeng Lake Living Water Park in Guicheng, Nanhai, Foshan. 
A total of 1,351 works from 105 countries and regions around the world were collected for this year's Outdoor Video Carnival, an increase of 10% over the previous year. Among them, the post-85s generation has become the main force in outdoor video creation, and about 23% of the works are the director's first work.
This year's collection of works integrates diverse topics, covering three major sections: outdoor sports and adventure, outdoor culture and lifestyle, ecological civilization and sustainable development. Themes include alpine skiing, climbing, rock climbing, high-altitude sling, surfing, outdoor yoga, etc. There are more than 30 sports categories, and there are many excellent films that have won awards and screened at international film festivals. For example, it has won more than 20 awards, including the 2020 Banff Mountain Film Festival Award in Canada and the Best Creative Film at the Kendall Mountain Film Festival in the United Kingdom, and has been screened in more than 40 film festivals including Hot Doc Canada and Beijing International Short Film Festival.
