China Performing Arts Association: Jay Chou, Mayday, Huajian Zhou, Li Yuchun, Mao Buyi, etc. have concert plans within the year

Large-scale commercial performances represented by concerts have always been the vane of the domestic performance market in terms of market influence and box office revenue. From February 16, local cultural and tourism administrative departments resumed acceptance and approval of commercial performances involving Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. This means that there will be more concerts and other large-scale commercial performances, returning to the spotlight of the market.

According to the research and understanding of the China Performance Industry Association in the industry, including Hong Kong and Taiwan artists such as Jay Chou, Mayday, Zhou Huajian, Ren Xianqi, Liu Ruoying, and mainland artists such as Li Yuchun, Mao Buyi, Zhang Yixing, Xu Song, Zhang Jie, Hua Chenyu, Xue Zhiqian, Xu Wei, etc. Ten groups of artists have concert plans within the year. Along with concerts, there are also large-scale music festivals. Only two music festival brand heads have confirmed that they will land large-scale music festival projects in more than ten cities.

This year, especially since the second quarter, concerts and music festivals will enter a relatively intensive period, and there have been varying degrees of tension in the scheduling of large venues in various places. The industry predicts that the competition in the concert market in 2023-2024 will be very fierce . Music festivals and large-scale concerts play an important role that cannot be ignored in boosting industry confidence and stimulating market vitality. The China Performance Industry Association specifically reminds performance organizers and performance ticket operators:

Firmly guard the bottom line of safety . Strictly follow the "Regulations on the Administration of Commercial Performances" and the implementation rules to implement the responsibility for safety management of performance content. Implement safety production regulations for detailed performance venues and safety standards for temporary stage stands, do a good job in maintaining order at the performance site, and ensure the personal safety of performers and audiences.

Standardize business operations. In accordance with the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, ticket prices shall be set reasonably and clearly marked, and sales shall not be increased beyond the marked price, and tickets shall not be covered, hoarded or speculated. The number of tickets for commercial performances sold to the market shall not be lower than the ratio of available tickets stipulated by the management department.

Safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of consumers. False publicity of the content of the performance is not allowed, and the minimum duration of the performance, the information of the performance group or main actors, and the corresponding minimum number of repertoires are clearly stated in accordance with the regulations, so as to effectively protect consumers' right to know.

Concerts and music festivals have always been hot spots for consumers and fans in the performance market. Because of its high degree of attention and high social influence, it is easy to become the focus of "shooting" by criminals and scalpers. Consumers are also specially reminded here that concert information must also pay attention to official sources, buy tickets from formal channels, and be alert to consumption risks.
