On December 4, the film DOGMAN directed by the famous French director Luc Besson announced that it will be released in mainland China on December 15. The film was shortlisted for the main competition of this year's Venice Film Festival and ranked first in the surprise screening program of this year's Pingyao Film Festival. It currently has a Douban score of 8.1.

The film tells the story of the protagonist Douglas (played by Caleb Landry Jones) who finds himself through his love for dogs after being devastated by fate.

Different from the "VS" (showdown) in the previous film's title, the English title of this film was changed to "X", which has the meaning of "fighting together". However, the mainland title of this film currently uses "Godzilla Vs. King Kong" name. It is reported that in the new film, Godzilla and King Kong join forces to fight against other giant beasts, and the underground kingdom will continue to be revealed. The film is still directed by the first director Adam Wingard, and the previous starring team of Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Kelly Hotel continues, Dan Stevens, Fala Chen, Rachel House joins the cast.
