Netflix's TV series version of "One Hundred Years of Solitude" has released a preview trailer. It is reported that the series will have 16 episodes and will be broadcast this year.

The play is adapted from the magical realism masterpiece of the same name by the Nobel Prize winner and Colombian writer Gabriel García Márquez. It is the first film and television adaptation of the novel in more than 50 years since its birth. Ten years ago, on April 17, 2014, Márquez passed away."One Hundred Years of Solitude" is hailed by the world literary community as the pinnacle of magical realism literature. It has been translated into more than 30 languages and published, with sales exceeding 10 million copies.
The series tells the story of seven generations of the Buendía family as they grapple with love, forgetfulness, and the inescapable past and destiny in the timeless town of Macondo.
