The documentary "Shanghai Craftsmen Season 9 - Breaking the Waves" will be broadcast on Dragon TV with two episodes a day during the May Day holiday. Liu Xia
Liu Xia, chief forger at Shanghai Steam Turbine Plant of Shanghai Electric Power Plant Equipment Co., Ltd., is an expert in conquering cutting-edge welding technology in the industry. She has led a team to successfully develop low-pressure welded rotors for combined cycle gas turbines, low-pressure welded rotors for supercritical million-kilowatt thermal power steam turbines, high-temperature dissimilar steel welded rotors, and low-pressure welded rotor technology for "Hualong One" million-kilowatt nuclear power steam turbines.
Zhang Changqing
Zhang Changqing, chief physician of the Department of Orthopedics at the Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital and director of the National Orthopedic Medical Center, started with the surgical treatment of early and middle-stage femoral head necrosis. Through the improvement, implementation, evaluation and promotion of surgery, he established a series of key surgical techniques and treatment standards for early and middle-stage femoral head necrosis, and created miracles of life on the operating table. Ji Lan
Watching over the Yangtze River estuary, breaking through the sandbar is the unchanging common wish of generations of water transport workers. "Only by breaking through the sandbar can we give full play to the water transport advantages of the Yangtze River's golden waterway." With this long-cherished wish, Ji Lan, chief engineer of the Survey, Design and Research Company of CCCC Shanghai Navigation Bureau, led the research team to form a complete set of technical achievements in the Yangtze River estuary deepwater channel management project, won the first prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, built dozens of kilometers of underwater Great Walls using soft bottom rafts, completely broke through the century-old sandbar, solved the world-class problem of Yangtze River estuary channel management, and made outstanding contributions to the construction of Shanghai International Shipping Center.

Xu Aomen
Xu Aoman, the team leader of the prototype car trial production section of the vehicle manufacturing engineering department of SAIC General Motors Co., Ltd. and the chief technician of the trial production verification technician studio, was born in 1999. He is the youngest "Shanghai Craftsman" character to date. At the age of 20, he represented the Chinese team and won the championship in the body repair project of the 45th World Skills Competition. His extraordinary diligence, self-discipline and hard work, as well as continuous learning and practice, have gradually enabled him to acquire professional skills in body repair. He has also innovatively expanded his skills in robot programming and operation, measurement programming and dimensional analysis, tooling fixture development and adjustment, and airtight water inspection for battery packs for new energy vehicles.
He Qichao
In January 2019, the Yutu-2 lunar rover landed on the moon, contributing Chinese strength to human exploration of the boundaries of the universe. He Qichao, a special aerospace technician and CNC operator at the First Branch of Shanghai Aerospace Equipment Manufacturing General Factory Co., Ltd., is one of the producers involved in the development of the Yutu-2 lunar rover. Born in the technical school of Shanghai Electric Factory, he has been deeply involved in the manufacturing of aerospace parts for 17 years, and has formed 25 patents. He has solved a series of technical bottlenecks such as deformation suppression of thin-walled structure CNC machining and efficient machining of difficult-to-cut materials, providing high-precision parts products for my country's manned space projects, lunar exploration projects, and launch vehicles, and contributing more Chinese wisdom, Chinese solutions, and Chinese strength to the peaceful use of space by mankind and the promotion of building a community with a shared future for mankind.

Li Wenxia
Li Wenxia, deputy director of the manufacturing department of Shanghai Watch Co., Ltd., is a Shanghai master who has worked in the field of movement assembly for nearly 40 years. Parts as light as goose feathers and thinner than hair can be assembled into an exquisite watch after several processing in his hands, accurately capturing the traces of time. Li Wenxia successfully developed China's first domestically produced tourbillon watch movement with independent intellectual property rights, and the chronograph movement he participated in the development was selected as a special-purpose timing equipment for aerospace. The craftsmanship spirit of Shanghai watchmakers has been passed down from generation to generation and integrated into his blood.
Hu Chuanshuo
The ability to manufacture large ships is a reflection of my country's comprehensive strength. Jiangnan Shipyard was once known as China's No. 1 shipyard, and today, it still plays a pivotal role in the shipbuilding industry. Hu Chuanshuo, the skill leader of the general assembly department of Jiangnan Shipyard (Group) Co., Ltd., has participated in the construction of high-value-added ship products such as the "Yuanwang" aerospace ocean-going survey ship series and ultra-large container ships. Extremely high precision requirements and extremely high pressure environments run through almost every stage of Hu Chuanshuo's work.
Gu Xuefeng
Gu Xuefeng, a senior engineer and first-class constructor of Shanghai Jing'an Building Decoration Industry Co., Ltd., has been engaged in the construction industry for more than 30 years. During this period, he grew from an ordinary on-site construction worker to a technical backbone of the protection, repair and inheritance of Shanghai-style historical buildings, and was specially hired as an expert in the evaluation of residential renovation projects in Shanghai. Hu Xiaoqing
Hu Xiaoqing was born into a fireworks family and is currently working as a senior fireworks technician at Shanghai Disney Resort. He has devoted himself to the research of fireworks products and firing techniques. As a member of the resort's entertainment performance team, he presents the "authentic Disney, unique Chinese style" Dream Lights phantom show to tourists, allowing gorgeous fireworks to light up the dreams in the night sky. Ye Weizhong
