The Asian Newcomer Unit, which was established at the 7th Shanghai International Film Festival in 2004, invited past judges, winners, and behind-the-scenes staff to gather again at the Shanghai International Film Festival on its 20th birthday. Together, they relived the Asian Newcomer journey full of passion and dreams, and every bit of memory was collected in the "Asian Newcomer 20" series of short videos.
