On June 25, the ShanghaiEye global dialogue event with the theme of "Magnolia Dialogue: Global Cities and International Communication" was held at Shanghai Radio and Television Station.
The event is co-organized by Shanghai Media Group International Communication Center and the Joint Institute of International Communication of the Ministry of Education of Fudan University. It aims to provide a platform for display, exchange and cooperation for telling Chinese stories and the diverse practices of urban international communication, and to jointly explore new paths for the shaping of Chinese modern urban civilization and international communication.
The ShanghaiEye+ International Communication Omnimedia Collaboration Group was officially launched at the forum. Shanghai Radio and Television Station will work with the three major friend circles of "National Communication Center Friends Circle", "University and Think Tank Friends Circle" and "International Students Friends Circle" to jointly build the ShanghaiEye+ platform and create an international media communication matrix.

At the forum, nearly 100 industry and academic elites from China Central Television (CGTN), China Foreign Language Bureau, Japan's Fukui Television, Radio Television Hong Kong, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai International Studies University, East China Normal University and international communication centers of radio and television in various places brought about wonderful exchanges of ideas and experiences.
The newly established Shanghai Media Group International Communication Center has launched its flagship product "ShanghaiEye", which is committed to creating the first video window for the international communication of Shanghai's city image, and providing more perspectives and paths for the international community to truly, three-dimensionally and comprehensively understand Shanghai and China. At present, the international communication super video IP headed by "ShanghaiEye" has an annual release volume of 50,000, with a total overseas audience viewing time of 866,000 hours, and an overseas communication volume of over 1 billion.
In order to further promote cooperation in international communication business, at the forum, Shanghai Radio and Television Station signed a memorandum of cooperation with various partners to jointly build three circles of friends: "Circle of Friends of National Communication Center", "Circle of Friends of Universities and Think Tanks" and "Circle of Friends of International Students", enhance the strategic link between domestic and international dual circulation, and further promote global and local cooperation in international communication business.
Fifteen national radio and television media international communication organizations, including the Shanghai Media Group International Communication Center, jointly signed a memorandum of cooperation to establish the "ShanghaiEye+ International Communication Omni-Media Collaboration Body" to create a media cluster with international influence and jointly promote the high-quality development of international communication work.
The Shanghai Media Group International Communication Center signed a memorandum of cooperation with four top universities, including Fudan University, Jiaotong University, Shanghai International Studies University, and East China Normal University, and unveiled the Data Visualization Studio, the Global City Image Big Data Studio, the Multilingual International Communication Studio, and the Field China Research Studio, jointly building a diversified practice platform for international communication.
