The movie "Hedgehog", directed by Gu Changwei, written by Zheng Zhi, Guo Fangfang and Gu Changwei, and starring Ge You and Wang Junkai, will be released nationwide on August 23.

"Hedgehog" tells the story of Wang Zhantuan, played by Ge You, who became a "devil" and a mentally ill person in his family because of an adventure in his early years. During the growth of his nephew Zhou Zheng, played by Wang Junkai, his parents always warned him to stay away from Wang Zhantuan to prevent him from being possessed by evil spirits. However, Zhou Zheng was out of tune with his surroundings because of his stuttering and poor academic performance. Two people who are "stuck" by life and family affection accompany each other and warm each other.

"Hedgehog" is adapted from "The Immortal Syndrome", a work by Northeastern novelist Zheng Zhi. It won the Golden Goblet Award for Best Screenplay at the Shanghai International Film Festival in June this year.
