Another web series adapted from the “Tomb Raider Notes” franchise has launched.

On August 26, the official Weibo account of “@Cang Hai Hua” announced that the series premiered on Tencent Video at 12:00 PM. Directed by Han Qing, with the original author Nan Pai San Shu as the screenwriter, the show stars Zhang Lu Yi, Wen Yong Shan, Chen Ming Hao, Zhang Kang Le, and Wei Qian Xiang.

This series is adapted from the novel "Cang Hai Hua" by Nan Pai San Shu. It tells the story after "Tomb Raider Notes," where Wu Xie and Wang Pang Zi embark on a journey to the snowy mountains. They seek to uncover the mysterious identity of Zhang Qi Ling, and along the way, they engage in a battle of wits with Zhang siblings, Zhang Hai Xing and Zhang Hai Ke, while getting caught up in an unprecedented conspiracy. Thus begins a romantic adventure...

The novel "Cang Hai Hua" was published in 2012 and is considered a "prequel" to "Tomb Raider Notes." It primarily narrates the mystery behind "the Mute Bottle" Zhang Qi Ling's origins and the secrets behind the bronze door. Along with works such as "Old Nine Gates" and "Sha Hai," it has constructed a vast universe around the "Tomb Raider Notes" series. However, this particular plot hole is one that Nan Pai San Shu has dug too deep; it's still not filled in to this day.
