This drama is based on the true story of Zhang Guimei, a recipient of the July 1 Medal, a model citizen of our times, and the principal of Lijiang Huaping Girls High School. It portrays the dedication of grassroots Communist Party members represented by Zhang Guimei, who devoted their lives to educating impoverished mountain communities by establishing the country's only fully free girls' high school, allowing countless girls to escape the mountains and change their destinies.
