New Film | "The Volunteer Army: The Battle for Survival" Set to Release on September 30

On September 13, directed by Chen Kaige, "Volunteer Army: Battle of Survival" announced its release date of September 30 and unveiled its trailer, alongside the cast lineup. The film stars Zhu Yilong, Xin Baiqing, Zhang Zifeng, Zhu Yawen, Chen Feiyu, Wang Yanhui, and Xiao Yang, with a special appearance by Wu Jing, and also features Zhang Youhao, Ouhou, Han Dongjun, Guo Xiaodong, and Li Zhuoyang in prominent roles.

"Volunteer Army: Battle of Survival" tells the story from the third battle to the fifth battle during the Korean War, with the Battle of Iron River being a major focus of the second installment.

"Volunteer Army: Battle of Survival" is the second part of the "Volunteer Army" trilogy. The first installment, "Volunteer Army: The Brave Strike," was released on September 28 last year and achieved a box office of 868 million yuan.
