    Highlighting the beauty of Xinjiang, the critically guided program "The Great Silk Road" by the National Radio and Television Administration premieres tonight.

    The National Radio and Television Administration's highly anticipated drama "The Great Silk Road" will air on the evening of September 22 on Jiangsu TV, Zhejiang TV, Hunan TV, Shandong TV, Xinjiang TV, as well as on Tencent Video and Mango TV simultaneously.

    "The Great Silk Road" is part of the commemorative programming celebrating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China under the theme of "Moving Forward with the Times, United with the People." It is also a project supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's special funding for cultural industry development in 2024 and a key drama in the "14th Five-Year Plan" by the Beijing Municipal Radio and Television Bureau. The series tells the inspirational story of a young motorcycle racer chasing and building his dreams, beautifully portraying the modern, inclusive, vibrant, and progressive culture of Xinjiang.

    With three years of preparation and production, "The Great Silk Road" features on-location filming across Xinjiang, blending the beauty of rapid sports with the cultural ambiance of the ancient Silk Road. It presents the stunning landscapes, ethnic customs, and cultural diversity of contemporary Xinjiang from fresh, multi-dimensional perspectives. The series is produced by Tencent Video, with joint production by Rongyue Media and Xinjiang Daming Sports Culture, in collaboration with the Publicity Department of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region Party Committee.
