Recently, the military war epic "Operation Jiaolong" directed by Dante Lam and produced by Leung Fung Ying has released several sets of materials. The production special records the challenges the crew completed under the extreme conditions of "deep water" and "hot". The main creative team on and off the stage adhered to the spirit of "hundreds of people holding one gun" like submarine soldiers, and implemented the principle of "never play tricks" from beginning to end, completing a "scientific research shooting".
1:1 submarine exposed for the first time
The film "Operation Jiaolong" filmed a submarine battle for the first time, and focused the camera on the legendary "most mysterious" submarine force. The 1:1 submarine set is the biggest attraction of "Operation Jiaolong".
The first special feature released by the film crew revealed the true appearance of the super submarine for the first time - the "Longjing" is 120 meters long, 11 meters wide and 16 meters high, like a steel behemoth. The interior design restores the real submarine structure, with a total of 9 cabins, including the torpedo cabin, command cabin, missile cabin, rear torpedo cabin, nuclear reactor cabin, main engine cabin, submersible cabin, auxiliary engine cabin and stern cabin. As a solid backing for the submarine team and the Jiaolong team, the interior design of the "Longjing" perfectly restores the real submarine cabin, from the huge hull structure to the narrow internal passages, and even every wire and every screw in the cabin has been carefully carved.

After actor Zhang Hanyu boarded the "Dragon Whale", he could not help but praise its realism and refinement: "It's so real, it's simply the perfect embodiment of the industrialization of Chinese films. It's really hard to imagine how much effort the crew spent to create such a scene." Another actor joked: "Is this something we can watch? I dare not touch anything."
Director Dante Lam said that filming a submarine movie was "like doing scientific research." The mechanical structure inside the submarine set, the instrument panel in the command cabin, and the operating procedures of the weapon system were all carefully researched and designed.
The crew also invited a number of experts from different fields, such as submarine operation consultants and torpedo consultants, to join the team for guidance. There are nearly 200 members of the professional art team responsible for designing the "Dragon Whale" and other underwater scenes. The total crew number is as high as more than 1,300 people at its peak. All of this is just to make "an international submarine blockbuster belonging to the Chinese", so that the film not only reproduces a highly realistic submarine world, but also shows the audience the strength and style of the Chinese Navy!
The movie "Operation Jiaolong" is not only an innovative attempt at military-themed works, but also a tribute letter to the heroes who silently guard national security.

Deep-sea "Wind Listener" makes its big screen debut
The movie "Operation Jiaolong" not only brings the submarine battle to the big screen, but also brings the important and mysterious sonar soldiers into the audience's attention.
The work of a naval sonar soldier is a matter of 100 minus 1 equals 0. If one mistake is made, it may mean a catastrophe in wartime. In recent years, new-age submarine sonar soldiers represented by Jiang Jinliang have stood out due to their excellent professional skills, allowing ordinary people to have a deeper understanding of sonar soldiers. Sonar soldiers play a pivotal role in the naval system, but they rarely become the focus of public attention.
The movie "Operation Jiaolong" reveals to the audience how this most special type of soldier "fights by listening to the sound". Zhang Hanyu, who plays the role of the captain, revealed: "In the movie, the sonar soldier is so awesome. As the captain, I have to listen to him. I dare not say a word unless he speaks. Because they are the 'first judge of the direction of the battlefield', the leading role of sonar soldiers in submarine operations is irreplaceable."
Wang Junkai plays the sonar soldier Cao Honglang in the film. "He (Cao Honglang) has a natural talent for being extremely sensitive to sound, and he works very hard, so he is very confident. In addition, he is very stubborn and will not stop until he solves a problem. No matter what method he uses, he will not relax until he has solved the problem."

Sonar soldier Cao Honglang is in the deep sea battlefield and faces severe tests of life and death many times. Zhang Hanyu said: "Xiao Cao is a soldier who is technically strong but also has a special personality. Whether he can withstand the test of the difficult deep sea confrontation, you will have to go to the cinema to see for yourself. This role is very realistic. In reality, many post-00s have begun to defend their country. They are passionate and combative, so the appearance of such a young submarine soldier in the movie is very realistic."
Wang Junkai's performance was praised by his senior Zhang Hanyu, especially his "ears". "Xiaokai performed very well throughout the whole play. It is not easy to act with your ears. His performance is very precise. I believe everyone will be able to see it in the theater when the time comes." Director Dante Lam also praised Wang Junkai's "voice" for his touching performance. "His seriousness on the set was as focused as a sonar soldier locking onto a target. He captured Cao Honglang's immature but resolute feeling very well."
