On January 22, the "2025, See You in the Cinema!" 2025 Spring Festival Movie List Release Conference hosted by the Film Bureau of the Central Propaganda Department was held at the China Film Museum in Beijing. Six films that will be released on the first day of the Lunar New Year made their wonderful appearance.

The six films released during the 2025 Spring Festival, "Fengshen II: War in Xiqi", "Nezha: The Devil Boy Conquers the Dragon King", "Detective Chinatown 1900", "Operation Jiaolong", "Boonie Bears: Reboot", and "The Legend of the Condor Heroes: The Greatest Hero", have diverse themes, rich genres, a strong creative lineup, and high market attention. Since the pre-sale opened on January 19, they have set a record for the fastest total pre-sale box office to exceed 100 million during the Spring Festival.

At the launch event, the main creators of the six films appeared one by one and introduced the highlights of the movies. The movie "Fengshen II: War in Xiqi" continued the foreshadowing of the previous work, showing the growth trajectory of the characters and the wonderful war scenes, and continued the classic "Fengshen" with high-industry production; "Nezha: The Devil Boy Conquers the Dragon King" shows the wonderful story of Nezha's Conquers the Dragon King, continuing the style of "super comedy, super-burning visual effects"; "Detective Chinatown 1900" retains the original style while comprehensively upgrading the content innovation and production scale; "Operation Jiaolong", as my country's first nuclear submarine movie, presents a wider battlefield and more complex battle situation underwater; "Boonie Bears: Restart the Future" is the final chapter of the "Boonie Bears" sci-fi pentalogy, and presents a future adventure for the audience with "extreme romance and bold imagination"; "The Legend of the Condor Heroes: The Greatest Hero" is adapted from Jin Yong's classic martial arts novel, presenting the Chinese people's national spirit of "the greatest hero, for the country and the people".

The conference also introduced the preferential subsidy policies for movie watching consumption during the Spring Festival in various places. Since the National Film Administration launched the "New Year's Eve, New Year's Eve - National Movie Benefit Consumption Season" in December last year, the four institutions of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China UnionPay, Maoyan Entertainment, and Tao Piao Piao have invested a total of no less than 600 million yuan in movie watching consumption subsidies as supporting units. During the Spring Festival, film authorities across the country will also carry out various distinctive movie benefit consumption activities.

In addition, the "Good Audience Convention" film-watching initiative for the 2025 Spring Festival was launched on site, calling on audiences to watch movies in a civilized manner and protect intellectual property rights.

Relevant responsible persons from the Film Bureau of the Central Propaganda Department, film enterprises and institutions directly under the Central Propaganda Department, the Film and Television Documentary Center of China Media Group, the Propaganda Department of Beijing Municipal Committee, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and other units, as well as representatives from relevant film production companies, publicity and distribution companies, cinema chains and the main creators of the Spring Festival film crews attended the event.
