On February 18, Bong Joon-ho’s new film "Number 17" was scheduled to be released nationwide on March 7, simultaneously with North America.

"Number 17" is a science fiction thriller produced by Warner Bros., written and directed by Korean director Bong Joon-ho, and starring Robert Pattinson, Naomi Ackie, Steven Yeun, Toni Collette and Mark Ruffalo.

The film is adapted from the science fiction novel "Mickey No. 7" written by Edward Ashton. It tells the story of the protagonist Mickey Barnes who joins an interstellar colonization plan, signs a contract to give up his physical body, upload his personality, and become the only "consumable body" on the spacecraft who can die and be reborn repeatedly in order to engage in high-risk work.

It is reported that the film will be released in South Korea on February 28, 2025, and in mainland China and the United States on March 7, 2025.
