Some people online are reselling IMAX theater tickets for "Nezha 2" at a higher price, China Film Expo responds

On February 20, the China Film Museum issued a solemn reminder to resist the practice of reselling movie tickets at a higher price:

Since the release of this year's Spring Festival films, especially "Nezha: The Devil Child Comes into the World", the IMAX GT Theater of the China Film Museum has been deeply loved by the audience for its excellent viewing experience. In response to and to meet the continued enthusiastic demand for viewing, our museum has added night shows since last week. Although the situation of hard-to-get tickets is still continuing, it has eased. Recently, we found that someone was reselling the movie tickets for "Nezha 2" in the IMAX Hall of the Film Museum at a higher price online. This behavior not only seriously disrupted the normal ticketing order, but also harmed the vital interests of the audience. Our museum contacted the relevant platform as soon as possible and reported it to the relevant departments.

In order to protect their own rights and interests and ensure the movie-watching experience, we remind audience friends to purchase movie tickets through regular ticketing platforms such as Maoyan and Tao Piao Piao, and never trust ticket purchase information from informal channels to avoid unnecessary economic losses. Let us work together to resist the practice of scalping tickets and jointly maintain a fair and orderly film market environment.

In addition, the audience who have bought the IMAX theater movie tickets should be reminded not to transfer the ticket purchase information and ticket code to others or "post" them on the Internet platform. Previously, there have been disputes caused by audiences' movie tickets being claimed or sold by lawless persons. Although the staff of the IMAX theater verified the original data and handled it on the spot, it not only affected the order of watching movies, but also may cause the audience to lose time and money.

Recently, our museum received a notice from the film distributor that the release date of "Nezha 2" has been postponed to March 30, and the audience can arrange their viewing plans reasonably. Thank you for your continued support and trust in the China Film Museum. We will continue to provide you with high-quality viewing services.
