The first feature-length animated film released by Disney in 1937 was "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs". For nearly a hundred years, this animation based on a German fairy tale has always been one of Disney's most classic IPs.
Since the release of the live-action film "Alice in Wonderland" in 2010, Disney has launched more than a dozen live-action films adapted from animated films, including "Cinderella", "Mulan", and the so-called "real lion" version of "The Lion King". The reviews of these live-action films in various countries tend to be polarized. On the one hand, they are praised for their excellent production, but on the other hand, due to the excessive pursuit of so-called "political correctness", there are obvious differences from past classics in everything from casting to plot.
"Snow White" encountered the same problem as the live-action movie "The Little Mermaid" from the casting stage. Because Rachel Ziegler, who played Snow White, was of Hispanic descent, some viewers accused her of being "not white enough."
