JAC Motors has made another move into the high-end smart electric vehicle field.
Following the completion of the Zunjie Super Factory in Hefei, the Zunjie Shanghai Design Center was officially unveiled on March 7.
According to reports, Zunjie Shanghai Design Center will focus on three core positionings. First, it will become the "sharp knife company" of JAC Group's technological breakthroughs, continuously output forward-looking design concepts and leading technologies, realize independent control of key technologies in the fields of intelligent driving and vehicle networking, build momentum for the company's development during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, and enhance brand influence; second, it will build a "new high ground" for talent gathering, continue to attract high-end talents, and cultivate an internationally competitive R&D iron army; third, it will create a cross-border integrated "ecosystem", with an open attitude, in-depth cooperation with domestic and foreign partners, and jointly explore new opportunities for the development of the automotive industry with universities, technology companies and upstream and downstream partners, and draw a new blueprint for smart travel.
MAEXTRO is a car brand jointly launched by Huawei and JAC Motors using the Hongmeng Intelligent Travel model. It is the highest-positioned brand among the four "realms" plans launched by Huawei, namely, Ask Realm, Smart Realm, and Enjoy Realm, and represents JAC Motors' upward breakthrough in the new energy era. Its first model, Hongmeng Intelligent Travel MAEXTRO S800, has been unveiled, positioned as the "flagship of the era", with a pre-sale price of between 1 million and 1.5 million yuan. It has now begun accepting reservations and is expected to be launched and delivered at the Shenzhen Auto Show at the end of May.
