The agency issued a statement: The online rumor of "super-first-tier male star gambling" has nothing to do with Jay Chou

On March 11, Jay Chou's management company @杰威尔音乐's official Weibo account posted a message saying: "Today, there was a trending search on Weibo about 'a top male star, gambling in Macau' and other related news. Some netizens insinuated that this male star was our artist Jay Chou. The company hereby declares that all the content of the rumor has nothing to do with Jay Chou! Please stop spreading false information."

On March 10, several self-media outlets broke the news that a "top-tier male star" gambled heavily in the VIP room of Wynn Palace in Macau for seven consecutive days, lost all his liquid assets of 1.03 billion yuan, and mortgaged three luxury homes and a private jet to pay off his gambling debts.
