The movie "Gold Hunter" has been officially scheduled to be released nationwide on May 1. The film is produced by Andy Lau, Lam Siu Keung and Calvin Choi, written and directed by Herman Yau, and stars Andy Lau, Ou Hao, Ni Ni, Huang Yi, Jiang Mengjie, Kent Cheng, Jasper Liu, Zhang Chenguang and Tian Li.

The story tells about financial guru Zhang Tode (played by Andy Lau) and his partner Gao Han (played by Ou Hao) who secretly manipulate the market to stir up trouble. Anna (played by Ni Ni) is forced to get involved in dark transactions and becomes the next target of capital. Li Hailun (played by Huang Yi) follows suit and buys stocks, which also leads the stock market to an unpredictable direction. In the whirlpool of undercurrent capital, a long-planned investment trap is about to unfold.

Andy Lau and Herman Yau have collaborated on many films in recent years, such as "Negotiator", "The Great Train Robbery 1993: Moscow Operation", and the "Drug War" series.

Other new films scheduled for release during the May Day holiday include "Good Job!", directed by Tong Jiage and starring Zhang Youhao and Wang Hao, and "The Vast Horizon is My Love" directed by Chen Xiaoliang and starring Zeng Yi from the Phoenix Legend band.
