
According to TVB, on April 10, Hong Kong veteran artist Gu Feng passed away at the age of 94. Gu Feng's family found him dead at home on March 27, and the cause of death has not yet been announced.

The news of Gu Feng's death was first revealed by former Shaw Brothers actor, 80-year-old Wei Ziyun, who posted a short video on social media on April 9, mentioning Gu Feng's death. Later, the media interviewed Gu Feng's old friend, former Shaw Brothers actor Shao Yinyin, who also confirmed Gu Feng's death.
Gu Feng's real name is Chen Siwen. He was born in Shanghai on July 3, 1930. He joined Shaw Brothers in the 1960s. He has won the Golden Horse Award for Best Supporting Actor twice and played classic roles in many works by Jin Yong and Stephen Chow.
In 1977, "The Legend of the Condor Heroes" directed by Chang Cheh was broadcast, and Gu Feng played the leader of the Beggars' Sect, Hong Qigong; the following year, "The Legend of the Condor Heroes: The Sequel" starring him was broadcast.
In the early 1980s, Gu Feng won the Golden Horse Award for Best Supporting Actor for his outstanding performance as Wu Dalang in "Wu Song" and in the art film "The Girl Waiting for Guilt".
In 1983, "The Return of the Condor Heroes" was broadcast, and Gu Feng continued to play Hong Qigong in the drama.
In 1992, Gu Feng co-starred with Stephen Chow, Josephine Siao, Sharla Cheung and other movie stars in the movie "The King's Woman".
In 1994, he played the White-browed Eagle King Yin Tianzheng in the martial arts drama "The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber" (Ma Jingtao version).

In 1994, he collaborated with Stephen Chow again in "Justice, My Foot", playing the role of Chang Wei's father, Admiral Chang Kun.
