In the era of short videos, we watch countless fragments of content every day, but rarely slow down to think. What kind of life is hidden behind those fleeting images? What attracts us to stop and look behind those highly praised and highly commented videos?
On April 17, the first creator interactive documentary reality show "I've Also Thought About the Life I've Brushed" was officially launched, and will be broadcast exclusively on Douyin every Thursday at 12:00 noon. The show is produced by Qi Qi, the founder, documentary producer, director, and team of Qiyu Studio, which has created the popular documentary reality show "Amazing Life".

This is a documentary program that shows stories of extreme lives. The audience can see ten kinds of extreme lives, such as "bravery", "freedom", "struggle", "adventure", "redemption" and "responsibility".
According to the executive director Zhu Ming, the program will use the real lives of 10 Douyin influencers from different fields as the entrance, and the program visitors and influencers will jointly complete an exciting, interesting or thought-provoking action journey. The program will use "truth" as the principle and "human heart" as the perspective, using close-ups and wide angles to explore the moving moments of each wonderful life.

The program was filmed in a wide range of locations, including Yunnan, Xinjiang, Zhejiang, Liaoning, Sichuan, Shanghai, Hubei and other places, covering different natural and human geographical environments such as borders, mountains, grasslands, cities, villages, rainforests, cities, and towns.
"I've Also Thought About the Life I've Seen" adopts a dual guest model of "artists + experts". Talk show artist Xiaolu, musician Renke, musician Wanida, and host Yu Yang are responsible for bringing the perspectives of public concern as visitors, while Douyin's featured authors rely on their experience in vertical fields to provide more professional and down-to-earth observations. The program attempts to break the boundaries between "watching" and "experience", allowing guests and audiences to immerse themselves in life scenes that originally only existed in "mobile phones" and experience different values and lifestyles.
For example, in the first episode of the show, talk show artist Xiaolu and Douyin featured author Jason embarked on a rainforest adventure together to unlock "the truest appearance of the earth."

Fawn and Jason's three-day adventure
They set off from Xishuangbanna and drove all the way to Mohan to look for orchid mantises. During the day, they saw all kinds of strange insects and the food chain in the lush plants. At night, they lit a bonfire, watched the stories in the starry sky, and exchanged the confusions on the road to growth. They used the three-day journey to give life an adventure.
Whether it is urbanites who are eager to escape from the fast pace or young viewers who are curious about the world, they may find resonance in this program. The person in charge of the platform said that the launch of "I Have Also Thought About the Life I Have Seen on Brush" is a further deepening of the platform's concept of "recording a beautiful life". There are a large number of high-quality life record creators on Douyin. They use the camera to capture extraordinary moments, string these scattered pearls into necklaces, and show them to a wider audience. This time, "I Have Also Thought About the Life I Have Seen on Brush" hopes to tell every ray of light in life from the perspective of the guests.
