The hosts of this season will be He Jiong and Shen Mengchen, and Hu Haiquan will return as the music narrator.
The first round of competition this year is from 8 to 7, and elimination will occur on the same day. That is, the 8 starting singers on the stage will be subject to 8-choice voting by the judges after their performance. The last-ranked singer will leave with regret, and only 7 singers will be able to continue the competition.
At the press conference, a draw was also made for the order of performance for this Friday's competition: Japanese singer BENI will be the first to appear, followed by Chen Chusheng, American country singer Mickey Guyton, Shan Yichun, American pop singer Grace Kinstler, Lin Zhixuan, GAI Zhou Yan and Bai Jugang.

In response to the psychological gap in the lineup on the Internet, producer Zhang Danyang said: "We have seen every version of the lineup that everyone has discussed online, and we have worked hard for it. But what I want to say here is that the eight singers on the stage and the singers who will be on this stage are the best lineup we can invite, have the courage to come, and can sing!"
Lin Zhixuan, who is nearly 60 years old, explained in one sentence why he returned to the "Singer" stage: "If it's not live broadcast, I won't come back!" He believes that the format of music variety shows should be live broadcast without sound editing.
In response to online doubts about his "qualifications", singer Bai Jugang, who has debuted for 12 years, said that he has been working hard to create and is a singer who has been trying in musicals, stage plays, and various variety shows. He can understand the doubts, which made him realize that he has not formed a "very clear" image of a singer in everyone's mind. He also said that he was through the 8 live broadcasts of "Next Stop Singer" last year, "Every audience voted for me to the last show, and I got the ticket for this year's "Singer"."
Talking about the competition among singers born in the 2000s, Shan Yichun thinks that competition is just a form. "It seems that all of us here are in competition, but I believe that what everyone is looking forward to the most and our original intention must be the music itself. We hope to express good music to everyone, and then share it with everyone, share all the beauty. And I don't want to make it too tense."
According to producer Zhang Danyang, this year there are four major "national gameplay" combinations. The program invited ten surprise guests to form a "national audience group" to open their own live broadcast rooms during the live broadcast and serve as "mouth substitutes" for the audience.
