The theme of this event is "You are the protagonist of the movie city", aiming to create an immersive movie carnival for fans to participate in, linking business and travel through film culture, and stimulating new consumption vitality. In addition, the first Fan Festival will be closely linked with the Shanghai International Film Festival in June, working together to help Shanghai become a "movie city" with international influence.
Movie fans' carnival
Whether revisiting classic film festivals or strolling through the city for exploration, this event hopes to allow every fan to travel between light and shadow, inspire a stronger sense of participation among fans, and experience the dual charm of film and the city of Shanghai.
The main poster design of this film fan festival uses the camera as the starting point of the spotlight, lighting up the protagonist of the event - every movie lover in life who loves movies, loves life, has light in his eyes and dreams in his heart; the road paved with movie films also outlines the wonderful journey of movie fans strolling in the world of light and shadow.

The organizers carefully designed a fan carnival for the fans
It is reported that from June 12th to 15th, the Shanghai World Expo Atrium will be transformed into an emotional value manufacturing factory specially built for movie fans. Through the four carefully designed theme sections of "Grand Bright Movie Fans Night, Movie Fans Show, Movie Fans Feast, and Movie Fans Star", it will bring an unprecedented carnival feast to all people who love movies.
Here, there are 1:1 restored classic movie scenes, creative movie corridors and fan interactive walls, a dazzling array of limited movie markets, and an open fan talent stage that gives every movie lover the opportunity to show themselves. The specially set up "Fan Star" selection event will find the most senior movie talents through fun competitions, allowing fans to gain exclusive glory.
In this festival, some films will be screened in cinemas, business districts, squares, terraces by the Huangpu River and other special scenes, creating open-air cinemas and mobile film festivals. In the Shanghai Classic Open-air Screening Unit, a light and shadow restaurant integrating light and shadow consumption will be launched. Audiences can enjoy the night view of the city while watching movies and tasting fine wines - for example, the terrace of the Bund Financial Center of BFC will inject new vitality into old movies with a modern art atmosphere; the public space screenings on Nanjing Road and Huaihai Road will integrate film art into the daily lives of citizens. It is reported that there are expected to be 40 film screenings, covering fans of all ages, and open-air movies will be free.

Young people like trendy activities in the second dimension, the middle-aged generation has a strong interest in the classics of masters, and there are many older fans who are looking forward to the restoration of classic films. The content of different sections has very diverse presentation and interactive methods. I believe that fans of all ages can have fun here."
