On July 16, the launching ceremony of "Serving the Country with Responsibility and Being a Vanguard - My Movie Party Class 2025" was held at Shanghai Film City.

As an innovative form of party history learning and education, "movie party class" is gradually becoming an important way for the majority of party members and cadres to learn party history and inherit the red gene. This literary and artistic party class, guided by the Municipal Party Committee Organization Department and the Municipal Party Committee Propaganda Department (Municipal Film Bureau), and jointly launched by the Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau, Shanghai Radio and Television Station, Shanghai Century Publishing Group, Shanghai Film Group, Shanghai Grand Theater Art Center, Shanghai Opera Art Center and other units, carefully selected 20 literary and artistic works and 21 film works, and adopted various forms such as demonstration classes, ordinary classes, and private classes to educate and guide the city's party organizations and party members to take responsibility for the country and be brave pioneers, and constantly create new achievements and strive to show a new atmosphere in the new journey of promoting Chinese-style modernization.
The 2025 "My Film Party Class" uses "Unforgettable Years" as its launch film. The film was written and directed by Shi Fenghe. It is set against the backdrop of the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War in 1937. It tells the story of Chen Yun returning to Yan'an from the Soviet Union. Under the leadership and support of the Party Central Committee and Mao Zedong, he served as the Minister of the Organization Department of the Central Committee and pioneered party building work, leading the audience to deeply feel that magnificent history.

The film was released in 2016 and was carefully crafted to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. This year coincides with the 120th anniversary of the birth of Comrade Chen Yun.
Before the film began, Zhu Yenan, deputy director of the Philosophy Teaching and Research Department of the Municipal Party School, gave a special party class on the theme of "Learning and carrying forward Comrade Chen Yun's lofty spirit and fine style, and striving to make greater contributions to the great cause of building a strong country and national rejuvenation", further guiding party members to learn Comrade Chen Yun's revolutionary beliefs, strategic vision, work style, public servant sentiments and noble character. Shanghai is not only an important starting point for Chen Yun's revolutionary career, but also a place where he made important contributions to the revolution and the construction of New China. Zhu Yenan said, "It's the right time to watch a movie about Comrade Chen Yun in Shanghai today."

As an important part of the literary and artistic party class, "My Movie Party Class" has been launched since 2017. It has always been closely linked to the basic tasks of party member education, carefully selected main-theme films, and invited advanced models and theoretical experts to serve as lecturers of the party class, providing high-quality and rich party class resources for grassroots party organizations and the majority of party members across the city.

In 2025, "My Movie Party Class" will innovatively carry out micro-party class tours, encourage grassroots party workers, advanced models and the majority of party members to combine red film elements to create micro-party class works that are political, contemporary, leading and effective. By cultivating a team of high-quality and professional lecturers, it will carry out tours at the grassroots level such as enterprises, communities, campuses, and military camps, guide the majority of party members to strengthen their ideals and beliefs, deeply understand their original aspirations and missions, and constantly draw on the tremendous strength to forge ahead.
