Ideal Auto officially responded to the accusation of infringement by using images of military aircraft such as the J-20 without authorization.
Recently, there have been reports that the China Aviation Industry Cultural Center sent a "Letter of Inquiry Regarding the Immediate Cessation of Infringement" to Ideal Auto. The circulated letter of inquiry shows that the China Aviation Industry Cultural Center stated, "Ideal Auto's unauthorized use of the image of our AVIC aircraft models in advertising has violated the legitimate rights and interests of Aviation Industry Corporation of China, misled consumers' legitimate right to know, and constituted serious false advertising and intellectual property infringement."

On September 25th, Ideal Auto confirmed to The Paper that it had received a letter and photos from the China Aviation Industry Cultural Center through informal channels. Given the aviation-related issues involved, the company attached great importance to the letter and immediately suspended related publicity upon receipt. Ideal Auto has also proactively contacted the Brand Operations Management Center of Aviation Industry Corporation of China and the China Aviation Industry Cultural Center for verification.
Regarding the "Sharing the Dream with the Country, Journey with the Family" themed promotional campaign mentioned in the letter's image, Ideal Auto stated that it was a collaborative project between Ideal Auto's Changchun Sales Company and the Changchun Air Show, focusing on releasing information related to the air show theme. The theme was discussed and confirmed with the Changchun Air Show prior to its use.

In addition, Ideal also mentioned that another picture of "Ideal MEGA and the main building of the Changchun Air Show in the same frame" seen by the public was an on-site shot of the support vehicles and the air show center building with the permission of the Changchun Air Show's operating service provider.
"As the '2025 Changchun Air Show Support Vehicle', we are deeply proud that Ideal MEGA can be displayed alongside advanced equipment at the air show. Thank you for your attention, and we will inform you of relevant progress in a timely manner," said Ideal Auto.
The official website of Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) shows that the China Aviation Industry Cultural Center is a functional unit directly under AVIC, responsible for providing cultural publicity services and developing cultural industrialization for the aviation industry.
The Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) is a state-owned super-large enterprise under the central government and a state-authorized investment institution. It has industries such as aviation weapons and equipment, military transport aircraft, helicopters, airborne systems, general aviation, aviation research, flight testing, aviation supply chain and military trade, special equipment, auto parts, asset management, finance, and engineering construction. It has more than 100 member units and employs approximately 400,000 people.
The "Changchun Air Show" mentioned by Ideal Auto in its response is introduced on its official website, and its organizers are the People's Liberation Army Air Force and the Changchun Municipal People's Government.
This is the second time recently that Ideal Auto has been accused of colluding with other companies. At the Ideal i8 launch event in July, Ideal Auto played a test video of the Ideal i8 colliding with a Chenglong truck, a subsidiary of Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor. In the video, the Chenglong truck was seen being hit, with all four wheels lifted off the ground. This garnered attention from both Chenglong Truck and the public. Ideal Auto subsequently stated that it had underestimated the brand-related risks that might arise from the dissemination of the relevant content and issued a public apology to Dongfeng Liuzhou.
