Chen Shihua, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, stated that the continued high growth of new energy vehicles this year is due to two main factors. Firstly, the domestic vehicle trade-in subsidy policy remains effective, offering substantial subsidies and broad benefits, thus driving the high growth of the new energy vehicle market. Secondly, the halving of the purchase tax on new energy vehicles next year has led some consumers to purchase vehicles ahead of schedule, ushering in a new wave of consumption in the new energy vehicle market.
Experts also stated that the continuous enrichment of new product supply, the ongoing upgrading of product technology, and the continuous improvement of the energy replenishment system by Chinese new energy vehicle manufacturers have all contributed to the high growth of the new energy vehicle market this year.
