On November 20, the day before the opening of the 2025 Guangzhou Auto Show, HarmonyOS's flagship new product of the year—the new Enjoy S9—made a strong debut.
According to reports, as a flagship 9-series model fully equipped with Huawei's top-of-the-line flagship technologies, the new Enjoy S9 is upgraded with the new Huawei Touring platform, Huawei Gankun Intelligent Driving ADS 4, new intelligent electric doors, new Nebula taillights, HarmonyOS ALPS health cabin, rear zero-gravity seats, Huawei megapixel intelligent projection headlights, and Huawei Yuezhang audio superior series, leading the leap in the value of luxury sedans.
The new car is available in four versions: the Enjoy S9 Extended Range Max is priced at 309,800 yuan, the Enjoy S9 Extended Range Ultra is priced at 349,800 yuan, the Enjoy S9 Pure Electric Max is priced at 329,800 yuan, and the Enjoy S9 Pure Electric Ultra is priced at 369,800 yuan.
At the press conference, Yu Chengdong, Huawei’s Executive Director, Director of the Product Investment Committee, and Chairman of the Terminal BG, said: The new Enjoy S9 has achieved six major upgrades, making leaps across all dimensions in the fields of luxury, intelligence, driving control, and safety, making luxury more relaxed and effortless.
It is reported that the new Enjoy S9 features a brand-new "Star of the Universe" logo, paired with Huawei's megapixel smart projection headlights, intelligent electronic exterior rearview mirrors, and iconic starlight headlights, making it a focal point from the moment it appears on the road. Furthermore, the new car is equipped with new nebula taillights, featuring multi-layered dynamic imaging that creates a unique view at every turn, capturing the glittering starry sky and delivering a level of luxury far exceeding traditional standards.
The new Enjoy S9 features six newly upgraded smart doors, showcasing elegance with every opening and closing. All four doors are electrically operated, with the driver and passenger doors also supporting gesture control. The electrically operated and suction-operated trunk opens with a simple double-click, making opening and closing easier and less strenuous. The newly upgraded in-car voice control and enhanced sentry mode not only allow communication with the windows closed but also enable remote communication via smartphone, greatly improving convenience. Furthermore, the new car offers voice control, air summoning, Huawei smartwatch control, group travel, a "travel concierge" system, intelligent parking, and intelligent charging, among other vehicle-to-everything (V2X) interactive features.
The new Enjoy S9 is also equipped with a brand-new active intelligent anti-slip function, which improves cornering stability and acceleration smoothness through multi-wheel torque intelligent distribution, reduces braking and deceleration distance, and brings a more stable driving experience without fear of slippery conditions.
Thanks to its extremely low drag coefficient of 0.193Cd, typical of mass-produced luxury sedans, the new Enjoy S9 boasts an improved driving range. The pure electric CLTC version offers a maximum combined range of 816km. The range-extended WLTC version achieves a fuel consumption of only 5.85L per 100km, with a maximum combined range of 1378km.
The new Enjoy S9 is equipped with Huawei Gankun Smart Driving ADS 4 and Parking-to-Parking Navigation Assist P2P 2.0, which connects all scenarios such as cruise and parking, and can be activated with one click to reach the parking space.
Regarding battery safety, a major concern for users, the new Enjoy S9 battery features 15 layers of safety protection and has successfully passed five rigorous tests, including 430mm wading depth (more than 4 times the international wading depth) and 300J energy impact on the battery pack (2 times the national standard impact energy).
With the launch of the new Enjoy S9, the Enjoy brand's product matrix of station wagons and sedans is now complete, making a strong push into the high-end luxury car market with the momentum of the "flagship 9-series twin stars." Zhang Jianyong, Party Secretary and Chairman of BAIC Group, shared at the event: In the future, BAIC will invest 20 billion yuan to fully develop the Enjoy brand, deploy a full range of products, and build good cars for users.
