

According to Japan's Kyodo News, popular Japanese duo Yuzu announced on the 22nd that they have cancelled their planned Asian tour, originally scheduled for December in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Taipei. According to their official website, the tour was originally scheduled for December 3rd in Hong Kong, 6th in Shanghai, and 8th in Taipei. Regarding the reason for the cancellation, the website states, "Due to various unforeseen circumstances, all performances have been cancelled."
Previously, Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's parliamentary response regarding "Taiwan in trouble" had strained Sino-Japanese relations, leading to the cancellation of several events involving Japanese celebrities scheduled to take place in various parts of China in November and December.
