On the evening of November 1, the 33rd TV Drama Feitian Award and the 27th TV Literature and Art Starlight Award ceremony were held in Beijing Shougang Ice Hockey Arena.

In the Feitian Awards, "Shan Hai Qing" won three heavyweight awards, including outstanding TV series, outstanding actress, and outstanding screenwriter. "Together", "Ebola Frontline", "Meritorious" and other works "produced in Shanghai" won the Outstanding TV Series Award. In addition, the actor Wang Lei of "Honours" also won the Outstanding Actor Award.

In the award for outstanding TV series, a total of 16 works were awarded in three chapters——

Five works including "Mountain and Sea Love", "Together", "Ebola Frontline", "Peace Boat" and "So Beautiful in the Country" jointly won the Feitian Award for Outstanding TV Drama ("Times Struggle");

Three works including "Installation", "Touring Monitoring Team" and "Ideal City" jointly won the Feitian Award for Outstanding TV Drama ("Life Story");

"Age of Awakening", "Meritorious Service", "Crossing the Yalu River", "Armageddon", "Top Secret Mission", "Rebel", "Xiangshan Ye Zhenghong" and "Ideal Shining in China" won the Outstanding TV Drama Award ("Faith and Mission").

Zhang Yongxin won the Feitian Award for Outstanding Director for "The Age of Awakening". "Shan Hai Qing" screenwriting team Wang Sanmao, Wei Xi, Xiaojiao, Lei Zi, Qiu Yujie, and Lena won the Outstanding Screenwriter Award.

Reyizha won the Feitian Award for Outstanding Actress for her role as Li Shuihua in "Shan Hai Qing". The Outstanding Actor Award was won by Wang Lei, who played Li Yannian in "Meritorious Ability, Wennengwu, Li Yannian".

China TV Drama Feitian Award, sponsored by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television (formerly the Ministry of Radio, Film and Television), was formerly known as the "National Outstanding TV Drama Award". It was founded in 1980 and began to award awards in 1981. The "Flying Award" is held every year, and since 2005, it has been changed to every two years.

The selection category of the 33rd Chinese TV Drama "Flying Awards" includes TV dramas broadcast on CCTV or local satellite TV channels from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2021, as well as TV dramas premiered on national key video websites.

During the selection process, this year's "Flying Awards" received submissions from nearly 100 film and television institutions, and 142 participating works were initially reviewed and approved by the provincial radio and television administrative departments, and 46 shortlisted works were selected through layers of screening.

These 46 works focus on various themes. Among them, the main theme works and tribute dramas are the most numerous, including revolutionary historical dramas "Awakening", "Armageddon", "Ah Cradle", "Smelting Steel", "Big Waves", "Glory and Dreams", " Midstream Strikes Water, Fragrant Mountain Ye Zhenghong, etc.; there are "Shan Hai Qing", "Red Flag Canal", "Blossoming Flowers and Leaves", "So Many Beautiful Mountains", "Jingshan Li Hai", "Stones Blossom", which focus on poverty alleviation; contemporary military brigade Theme dramas "Peace Boat" and "Ace Troopers"; spy war dramas "Rebel", "Top Secret Mission" and "Rival"; the 20th anniversary of Macao's return to the return drama "Children of the Bay Area"; "Together" focusing on anti-epidemic work In addition, this year's "Flying Award" also includes costume dramas such as "Da Qin Fu" and "Qing Ping Le".

In addition, the form of unit drama is outstanding, such as "Meritorious Merit", which connects the real experiences of eight "Medal of the Republic" winners in the form of a unit drama, and presents the stories of more than 40 characters of the Chinese Communist Party in various historical periods in the form of a series of short dramas. "Ideal Shines in China", "Our New Era" tells the stories of grassroots party members in six units based on real character prototypes.

At the awards ceremony, the 16 final award-winning works, as well as the winners of four individual awards for outstanding director, outstanding screenwriter, outstanding actor and outstanding actress, were announced.
