She said: "In addition to urban reality themes, Xi Xi has always been iterating and innovating in the creation of costume dramas that she loves and is good at."
Three major recommended works
"Like Brocade" poster
"Like Brocade" is adapted from the novel of the same name by Willow Leaves in Winter. Fu Wenjie introduced that the visual presentation of the play will realize the shift from dramatic aesthetics to documentary aesthetics in terms of art design, scene design, modeling design and other aspects. With reference to the elegance of ancient Chinese paintings, the charm of Chinese gardens, and the essence of ancient Chinese books, ancient society is effectively restored from details such as mountains and water systems, pavilions, clothing styles, colors and materials.
"The Prince in White" poster
"The Prince in White" is a costume realism drama adapted from Fulan's novel "The Journey of Brocade". It tells the inspirational story of Meng Jianqing, a young male protagonist with special skills and lofty ambitions, who goes from studying to becoming a talent. This is a cross-genre work that contains various elements such as martial arts, action, and youth passion. Fu Wenjie said that this drama uses the life biography of an unknown person to convey the touching atmosphere of a great country and the feelings of family and country. It is one of the value orientations that current costume dramas should convey.
"Hu Shanwei" poster
Different from "The Prince in White", a boy's growth story that is both touching and inspiring, "Hu Shanwei" is a historical and cultural work that positions women's growth. The heroine Hu Shanwei is a real person in history. She was originally the daughter of a bookseller, and her growth path began with managing the library.
Fu Wenjie said that in the creation of "Hu Shan Wei", the creative team will deeply explore the Chinese classics culture and etiquette culture, and delicately integrate the traditional essence into it.
