Starting August 8th, the popular Disney Animation Studios film "Zootopia" will return to Chinese screens for a limited time. This marks the second re-screening of "Zootopia" since 2020, and is clearly intended to build momentum for "Zootopia 2," scheduled to premiere in November of this year. Therefore, a trailer for "Zootopia 2" will be shown at the end of the main film.
In 2016, the animated film "Zootopia" took screens worldwide by storm. It topped the global box office with $1.02 billion and won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. Since then, audiences have remained enthusiastic about it. Not only has the "Zootopia" theme park become the most popular attraction at Disneyland, but the debate over whether the protagonists, Judy the rabbit and Nick the fox, are friends or a couple has frequently trended on social media. And after a nine-year hiatus, "Zootopia 2" is even more highly anticipated.
To coincide with the re-screening, Disney also specially released a new poster, which has 9 differences from the old version of the poster in 2016. You may want to find the differences.
