On April 12, Stephen Chow's first short drama "Golden Pig and Jade Leaf" started filming in Chengdu.

Stephen Chow and Douyin Vice President Chen Duye served as producers, Jiaoshou Yi Xiaoxing supervised the production, Douyin short drama leaders Qian Lili and Leng Gang served as general producers, Ma Shi directed, Xu Han wrote the script, Shi Yuanting and Xia Ruoyan starred in the youth campus comedy movie "Northeast Transfer Student" and played the leading role of Wang Hu; Xia Ruoyan starred in "Cambrian Period" and "Three Points Wild". Other actors include Tu Dou, Jiang Shimeng, Pai Xiaoxuan, Zhang Baiqiao, Xu Zhisheng and others.

"Golden Pig and Jade Leaf" is a combination of comedy, suspense and reality. It tells the story of Taiwanese intern Ye Xiaolai, who went to the mainland to find the suspect Zhu Hao because her twin sister was involved in a pig-killing scam, but found out that the other party's identity had been stolen and the culprit was someone else.

The story focuses on the real-life problem of pig-killing scams, and uses a humorous and witty comedy approach to show the experience of a tough guy from Northeast China and a cute girl from Taiwan, who go from being happy enemies to working together to solve a case. The audience will follow their investigations to uncover the secrets layer by layer, all the way from Chengdu to Northeast China, embarking on a thrilling and hilarious journey to track down the murderer.

It is reported that the drama will employ a senior film photography art team and adopt horizontal screen shooting, striving to bring a high-quality comedy short drama with a movie texture.

Earlier it was reported that the short drama will be launched in May.
