Written by Nie Chengshuai and directed by Zhang Xiaobo, the play is adapted from Liu Sanshu's novel "Flying Dagger." It takes a novel perspective on primary healthcare and tells the story of a young doctor's journey back home. Through a distinctive brand of black humor, it explores the issues of life and death, celebrating the resilience of life.
When a talented doctor encounters a setback in life and is forced to return to his hometown to start from scratch, he gathers a group of "unreliable" people and passionately tackles the "most reliable" problem. Sometimes, the world's definition of a suboptimal solution is precisely the optimal solution for your life.
