The "Famous Doctors" series of medical and health science programs, created by Shanghai Radio and Television since 1998, has accompanied audiences for more than 20 years.
In the 2025 renewal of Dragon TV, "Famous Doctors Talk about Health" has been fully upgraded to create a new medical and health public welfare service scene. In 2025, the program "Famous Doctors Talk about Health" has been upgraded to "Famous Doctors Talk about Health·Flash Hospital". From January 1, it will premiere on Dragon TV every Monday to Friday at 17:30, and will be pushed to the entire network nationwide through the Knews omni-media matrix.

The upgraded "Famous Doctors Talk about Health·Pop-up Hospital" will further enhance the caring concentration of medical and health programs, create an innovative program with public welfare medical and health services as the main model, and through a service scene such as the "pop-up hospital", allow famous doctors to walk among the citizens, reach real health needs, record real medical stories, spread the concept of health science, let care go to where it is needed, and let famous doctors be around.
Different from traditional medical and health programs, "Famous Doctors Talk about Health Preservation·Pop-up Hospital" will go out of the studio, with the concept of "Pop-up Hospital" and the core concept of care on the move, to create a medical service carrier and space that conveys health care and fashionable aesthetics. It may be an art installation, a public space, a medical service vehicle, or it may empower the community center and citizen station around you, becoming a mobile medical service platform for citizens. At the same time, the program invites famous doctors from various disciplines and major medical institutions across the country to come to the pop-up hospital to interact with citizens and provide health consultation and popular science.

For example, in response to the high incidence of childhood infections and the common eye health problems among teenagers in winter, Cao Qing, director of the Department of Infectious Diseases, and Liu Hong, director of the Department of Ophthalmology, Shanghai Children's Medical Center affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University, followed the pop-up hospital into the campus and had face-to-face exchanges with parents and children; in response to the health care problems of the elderly, Wang Yu, director of the Department of Head and Neck Surgery, and Xu Ye, director of the First Department of Colorectal Surgery, Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Fudan University, followed the pop-up hospital into the nursing home to conduct popular science on chronic diseases and rehabilitation of serious diseases in the elderly; in response to the health anxiety of young white-collar workers, Ding Jingxin, director of the Department of Gynecological Oncology, Affiliated Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital of Fudan University, Wu Wenyu, director of the Department of Dermatology, Affiliated Huashan Hospital of Fudan University, and Chen Haiquan, director of the Department of Thoracic Surgery, Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Fudan University, and other famous doctors followed the pop-up hospital to the science and technology park to show their care for young entrepreneurs; and when it comes to "talking about health preservation", Li Xin, director of the Department of Dermatology, Affiliated Yueyang Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, Affiliated Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Sun Wuquan, director of the Department of Massage, and Sun Xuehua, director of the Department of Hepatology, Affiliated Shuguang Hospital of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, also came to the pop-up hospital as soon as possible to escort the citizens' winter health preservation.
In order to deliver medical and health services to the places that need them most, the pop-up hospital also went to Yongping County, Dali, Yunnan, and invited the "Red House Adolescence Red Platform" of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital of Fudan University to bring health science popularization about adolescence to rural primary schools. In subsequent programs, the pop-up hospital will also go deeper into more communities, parks and public spaces to start caring immediately and bring famous doctors to the public.
The "flash" of the pop-up hospital is not limited to consultation. During the program, famous doctors will also invite the program team to the hospital's diagnosis and treatment site, walk into the outpatient clinic and wards, deeply analyze medical and health hotspots, combine difficult cases, and further spread the concept of health. This is another highlight of the program "Famous Doctors Talk about Health·Pop-up Hospital", which conveys the love between people through real and vivid diagnosis and treatment stories.
At the same time, each episode will provide a systematic and authoritative health and wellness guide for a disease or health problem, combining education with "diagnosis" to provide the audience with the most practical health guide, becoming a national health science platform that the audience can trust.
