The Shanghai Film and Television Creation Conference will be held at the Shanghai Exhibition Center from March 19th to 20th.
This conference brings together four main activities: Shanghai TV Drama Production and Broadcasting Annual Conference, TV Drama Quality Festival, Shanghai Micro-Short Drama Conference, and Micro-Short Drama Quality Festival.
The Shanghai TV Drama Production and Broadcasting Annual Conference, held on the first day of each conference, has always been a "barometer" of the development trend of the annual drama. This year's production and broadcasting annual conference is themed "Digital Intelligence Resonance, Drama Creation of the Future", closely following the new trends, new technologies and new practices in the development of the film and television industry, focusing on digital technology, artificial intelligence, ultra-high-definition industry and other industry hotspots, and through industry sharing, theme forums, major TV drama cooperation project venture capital meetings and other series of activities, to promote the TV drama industry towards intelligence, digitization and networking. This year also ushered in the 10th China TV Drama Quality Festival. Over the years, the festival has always adhered to the standards of "ideology, professionalism, and innovation", adhered to the evaluation principle of "content is king", and carefully selected those TV dramas with value guidance, contemporary perspectives and social significance, injecting strong impetus into the prosperity and development of the TV drama industry.
As an emerging track, micro-short drama has developed rapidly in the past year, and a large number of high-quality works have emerged. The upcoming Shanghai Micro-Short Drama Conference will comprehensively sort out and display the outstanding achievements of Shanghai's online micro-short drama industry in 2024-2025, release the "2024-2025 Shanghai Micro-Short Drama Development White Paper", launch the Shanghai "Micro-Short Drama +" theme creation plan, and release the "Quality East-Micro-Short Drama Quality Index". This conference also created the Micro-Short Drama Quality Festival for the first time, announcing the annual upward force quality drama, quality ingenuity creation drama, quality fashion influence drama and other awards.
During the conference, Nanjing West Road will build a "Quality Fruit Avenue" to match the Hollywood Walk of Fame, integrating film and television culture into urban culture.
The conference is guided by the China Internet Audiovisual Association and the Shanghai Radio and Television Bureau, hosted by Shanghai Radio and Television Station and the Jing'an District People's Government, undertaken by Shanghai Oriental Entertainment Media Group Co., Ltd., Jing'an District Culture and Tourism Bureau, Shanghai Rongdongfang Culture Media Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Internet Audiovisual Industry Association, and co-organized by Daning Asset Management (Group) Co., Ltd. and the Shanghai Television Artists Association.
