Directed by Guo Hu and starring Tang Yan and Liu Xueyi, the ancient costume fantasy romance drama "Nian Wushuang" will premiere on iQiyi and Youku from March 27. Guo Xiaoting, Wang Hongyi, Zhou Keyu, Zhang Li, Chen Chuhe, Cheng Xiyi, Bai Shu and Zheng Yecheng also starred.
The drama is adapted from Shi Silang's novel "The Unparalleled". It tells the story of the goddess Wushuang who comes down to earth to assassinate the chief priest of the fox tribe Yuan Zhong in order to retrieve the treasure of the gods, but Wushuang discovers that there is another hidden story. During the investigation, the two fall in love and work together to save the world.
"Nian Wushuang" started filming in 2023 and finished filming at the end of that year. This drama is also Tang Yan's first starring drama since "Fang Hua".
