The urban drama "In the Name of Beauty", produced by Yu Baimei and Yao Chen, directed by Li Shaofei, and starring Yao Chen, Jia Jingwen, and Hou Wenyuan, will be exclusively broadcast on Youku from 19:30 on March 30, and jointly broadcast by Beijing Satellite TV, Dragon TV, and Zhejiang Satellite TV. Yuan Hong, Dai Lele, Wang Xi, Zuo Lingfeng, Tan Xihe, Cao Zheng, and Zhang Xiaowan will also appear in the drama.

The drama tells the story of Qiao Yang (Yao Chen) and Zhou Jingwen (Jia Jingwen), two former classmates at medical university who were alienated by a misunderstanding, but fate brought them together ten years later. In the Gemu Plastic Surgery Hospital founded by Zhou Jingwen's husband Qin Gui (Yuan Hong), they jointly faced surgical challenges and worked together to treat patients.
Director Li Shaofei is good at realistic themes. He has directed the TV series "Life of Pi" series and "Setting Up the Stage". He is currently filming the TV series "The Protagonist", which is adapted from Chen Yan's work and the Mao Dun Literature Prize-winning novel of the same name, with Zhang Yimou as the producer and Zhang Jiayi as the leading actor.
