In the past two days, three new dramas have been scheduled.
The realistic suspense crime drama "Above the Clouds" starring Sun Li, Luo Jin and Ding Guansen will be broadcast on iQiyi's Misty Theater from April 3. The play was written by Wang Bu and Yiying, directed by Hua Qing, and also starred by Li Xiaoran and Wang Ziyi.
"Above the Dark Clouds" tells the story of Han Qing (played by Sun Li), a female police officer from the Sanhe Criminal Investigation Team, who secretly continues to investigate the whereabouts of her partner Zhong Wei (played by Luo Jin) after his mysterious disappearance, and fights the crime through the fog.
On July 12, 2023, the show released stills and announced the cast. In September 2024, the show was selected for the 2024-2025 iQiyi list; in October, it was selected for the 2025 major drama list of Jiangsu Satellite TV.
This is Sun Li's first TV drama broadcast in several years following "Meritorious Service" and "Ideal City" which were broadcast in 2021.
On April 2, Sun Li posted a message on Weibo, using 12 "finally"s to recommend "Above the Clouds". In addition, she also mentioned that another new drama she starred in, "A Pretty Good Life" (directed by Wang Jun, co-starring Dong Zijian), "is also waiting in line to go on stage."

"The Mystery of the Octagonal Pavilion", co-directed by Hua Qing and Wang Xiaoshuai, the directors of "Above the Dark Clouds", was broadcast on the Misty Theater in 2021, starring Duan Yihong, Hao Lei and others. The response was average and the reputation was controversial.

The domestic drama "Worthy of Love" , directed by Han Yan and starring Wang Anyu and Wang Yuwen, will premiere on Tencent Video on April 2.
"Worthy of Love" tells the story of the most talented boy Zhou Shui (played by Wang Anyu) and the most righteous girl Daji (played by Wang Yuwen), who fall in love. They imagine a better life in a cramped rental house, and find joy in hardship and support each other in difficult days. This record was discovered by a young man and woman born in the 2000s 18 years later, and they became the viewers and complainers of this youthful love. The encounter and interweaving of the two generations has triggered a recollection and reflection on love: Is it "worth it" and can we "dare"?
Director Han Yan has participated in directing the highly acclaimed domestic drama "The Sky of the Wind Dog Boy" (Douban 7.9, 220,000 points), but his film directorial works "The Sky of the Burning Wild Boy" and "Wang Jinjin, Who Was Lost Twice by Me" are much less well-received. The last TV drama starring Wang Anyu was the well-received period drama "People in the Alley", and Wang Yuwen has participated in "Good Reunion", "Reluctant to Part with the Stars" and "Bianshui Past".

The urban romance drama "Eat Running and Love" directed by You Zhongzhong, written by Jin Yuanyuan, and starring Chen Feiyu and Zhuang Dafei will premiere on Youku on April 8.
The drama is adapted from Chen Zhiyao's novel "Golden Romance". It tells the story of Gan Yang (played by Chen Feiyu) and Ding Zhitong (played by Zhuang Dafei) who fell in love when they graduated, but had to separate due to practical reasons such as the economic gap between the two. Ten years later, the two met again in the business world, resolved the misunderstanding, and returned to each other's side.
Director Yu Zhongzhong is good at idol dramas. He has directed dramas such as "Once Upon a Time There Was a Spirit Sword Mountain", "Half Honey, Half Hurt", "My Time, Your Time", "Come on Today", "Don't Fall in Love with Me", "Yan Xin Ji", and "Winter Solstice".
